Hat Making
The ultimate 'must have' book for anyone interested in 1/12th Scale Dolls and Dolls' Houses. |
Genre: How-To book Note: This book is spiral bound for ease of use as a workbook, and computer-printed on plain A4 paper. Making Hats is a fully-detailed workbook for both the beginner and experienced hobbyist interested in detailing their 1/12th scale dolls. Not only does this book show you how to make various hats for both gentlemen and ladies, but also includes accessories such as bags and parasols, plus how to easily and cheaply make your own formers to produce hats that fit. You will no longer have to pay high prices for hats that either need balancing on a head because it is too small, or sewing to the hair because it is too big. Once you have mastered the basics, you can also use your new skills and equipment to easily make any hat from old pictures. Linda has done the hard work for you already by checking historical references and redesigning the hats to fit your dolls. As proof that these designs work, some who have bought the book now sell their work on ebay etc. If doing this, please mention Linda Brown as the designer.
